Java Developer

Location: Vadodara, Gujarat, India

Experience: 4 to 6 Years

Responsibilities:

·         Actively participates in meetings with business and technical teams to translate technical and/or complicated information into clear, concise information in order to resolve problems and communicate changes.

·         Formulates concepts and develops solutions using defined user requirements.

·         Able to interpret requirements and work with the team to clarify requirements as needed.

·         Designs, codes, tests, and documents enhancements to existing systems of high complexity and scope, working with common application designs and specifications, utilising industry and System standard procedures, products and methodologies.

·         Executes performance and stress testing, as necessary.

·         Designs or adapts frameworks and best practices established for the project, team, and Organisation with industry standards. Quickly grasp new concepts and to see things in new and creative ways.

·         Promote creative, original thinking and apply it to existing and emerging situations. Recognise, anticipate, and resolve problems.

Skills:

·         We are looking for a Java API Developer with experience in building cloud based, high-performing, scalable applications.

·         Prior Experience in Agile project execution is will be a added advantage.

·         Hands on Experience with AWS or Azure will be preferred.

·         Understanding of Devops will be a plus.

·         2-4 years of experience in Java/JEE-JAVA; Framework-Spring, Springboot.

·         Hands on experience with RESTful Web Services, XML, JSON & Java.

·         Understanding of Web services approach including Web service protocols such as SOAP and REST.

·         Strong experience in application development using SQL, PL SQL, NOSQL DB's (Mongo DB).

·         Experience in API Design is a plus.

·         Working knowledge of database modelling is plus.

·         Knowledge of Spring, Spring MVC and Spring Batch.

·         Strong Core Java Skills, Experience building REST web services is preferred, Experience in

·         WebServices (JAXRPC or JAXWS) technologies and Development approaches.

·         Basic Knowledge of JSON & XML Schema and Processing Technologies (Parsers, JAXB, XSLT etc.)

·         Good Understanding of Core Java Patterns and J2EE Design Patterns (like Adapters, Business Objects, Delegates, Service Locator, Singleton, DAO, DTO)

·         At least 2 of the following: Websphere, Weblogic, Tomcat, JBOSS, IDE – Eclipse STS

·         Good understanding about SVN Git / Bitbucket.

·         Quick learner and self-starter who requires minimal supervision to excel in a dynamic environment

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills.
