Dozer Operators
Location: Central Africa
Experience: 5-10 Year experience
Accountabilities:
Performs all duties and activities in a manner that conforms to site specific safety requirements, company policy, state and federal regulations.
Operates dozer to gouge, cut, level and distribute earth to build roadways, prepare benches, etc. Maneuvers tractor by moving levers and depressing pedals so as to make the right depth of cut. Drives dozer in successive passes to raise or lower to desired grade which may be marked by grade stakes or provided by hand signals.
May connect hydraulic hoses, belts, mechanical linkage or power takeoff shaft to provide power.
Mounts and dismounts equipment by climbing or descending the boarding ladder or steps.
May operate scarifier (ripper) or similar machinery to loosen soil or ore.
Performs other duties as required.
May service equipment and perform routine repairs.
Assist mechanic with repair work.
