Key Responsibilities:
· He will be responsible for planning, organizing and directing all the activities of the Store Department of site including record management and accounting of material in electronic as well as physical manner over tally, etc.
· Ensuring scientific material management of stores to maintain optimum level of inventory.
· Follow up with the schedule of various consultants (Site Managers) for purchase of raw stock and required material.
· Ensuring that indents are raised as per time schedule prepared by planning department and the execution team.
· To work on cost reduction and quality improvement exercises on regular basis.
· To control age-wise analysis of materials, particularly of the items having shelf life and try to divert dormant items to other sites to save the cost of interest.
· Responsible for keeping stores ready every time for surprise audit both internal & external
