Job Profile :

·         Candidate must have direct experience in a powder coat operation and supervisory role

·         Strong knowledge of powder coating techniques, equipment, troubleshooting

·         Experience using automated powder coating booths and conveyer plant.

·         Maintain a safe work environment; monitor and enforce all safety procedures, PPE, 5S, and housekeeping

·         Coordinate the daily production of powder coated parts based on the needs from multiple departments and business units.

·         Provides daily reports to the manager regarding operational issues or concerns that occurred during the shift; keeps manager informed of overall shift work outputs.

·         Reviews work for accuracy, neatness, and conformance to production guidelines and quality and safety standards

·         Assists the manager with selection and performance management of employees

·         Recommends equipment upgrades, staffing adjustments, improvements in procedures and working conditions, and process modifications

·         Maintains written and computer logs of process information or inspection results and provides necessary reports

·         Provide guidance, communication, and consistency to the powder coating team on work standards.

·         Manage employees in an effective manner by communicating goals, expectations, and holding them accountable for results.

·         Bring new ideas and positive support to the current powder coat processes

·         Initiate and/or provide technical assistance for production and maintenance issues, both daily and long term

·         Utilize process information systems to extract/analyze data

·         Provide training for powder coat operators

·         Ability to read drawings, blue prints, engineering instructions, and other instructions to determine requirements
