Job Description:

·         Qualified candidate will be responsible for developing engineering drawings piping, for Oil & Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical projects. Applies broad knowledge of engineering principles and practices to project engineering

·         Extraction of Material Take-off from P&LD (piping and instrument diagram) and Layout

·         Coordinates assigned engineering work with other project groups/disciplines

·         Broad knowledge of piping codes and standards like ASME B 31.3, 831.1, B 31.4 B 31.8AP, IBR etc. Design basis/criteria for piping, selection and preparation of piping material specification pertinent to a project/job. Knowledge of systems, calculations, equipment, plot plan, plant layout.

·         Knowledge and understanding of technical issues related to selection of design features within the discipline. Knowledge of precedents in the discipline and of principles and practices of related disciplines. Knowledge of related construction practices involved.

·         Good working knowledge of application of 2Dl3D AutoCAD in development of conceptual designs and production design deliverables of some complexity
