Senior Engineer – Civil Construction

Experience: 10+ years

Location: Central Africa

Job Description: 

·         Specifically we are looking for Rolling Mill setup / AOD setup / CCM Setup / Furnace Setup and general set up.

·         Candidate must have experience in Steel Industry Civil Work

·         Good Exposure across Steel Industry set up

·         Execution /Supervision of civil construction work at project site

·         Civil construction of equipment foundation as per drawing and timeline.

·         Ensure projects are completed within allocated cost budget

·         Initiate Civil construction involved in new projects and draft clear budget for all civil requirements.

·         Weekly tracking of Budget vs Actual Costs + Savings in material costs and consumption, Reconciliation of budget Vs actual

·         Site mobilization, Manpower recruitment, Review of layout plan, construction drawings, BOQ & estimate the CAPEX & schedule

·         Candidate will be responsible for completion of civil construction per drawings and QAP

·         Preparation of Documentation of QAP, project completion

·         Close co-ordination with project team

·         Software Knowledge: MS Project, AutoCAD, Read / interpret civil construction drawings
