Type>Paragraph>Single Word Justification
What does this mean, last line justify?

With no docs open at last I can turn off default's hyphenation.

The Single Word Justification setting tells InDesign what to do if in
Justified text that is interrupted by a text wrap there is only one
word between the margin and the wrap. You'd be hard pressed to deduce
that from the description in the InDesign Help.

Can't visualize what that would look like, Dave. Where that would be a help or a problem please?

It happens in bad designs where people have narrow columns interrupted
by text wraps.

I believe (haven't tested it) that it also comes into play if you have
a one-word paragraph that is set to full justify.

It can also be used to prevent single words from fully justifying if
you have a soft-return after one word in a justified paragraph of any
kind (I usually insert a tab to do that, but this can be used to do it).

You don't need text wrap.

It comes into play when you have a single word that's not the last line of the paragraph. The last line is affected by the last line justification settings.

That screenshot was of the last line justification setting -- not the single word settings...

Thanks for the screenshot, Harbs. It explains perfectly.
