Hi folks,
Is there some way to add a "page break after" rule to a Paragraph Style? IE - whenever that style is used, the next paragraph will jump to the next page. Or text frame.

Thanks!

Pat

I think you could indicate this in the paragraph that comes after the rule in the Keep Options.
Cheers,
Ann

Hi Ann
Thanks but that won't work as the following paragraph will not always come after that particular paragraph style.

Try adding a large amount of space after the paragraph style, say 80p0. While not elegant, it should be enough to push following content on to the next frame.

The easiest way would be to add LOTS of paragraph space below the style so the next paragraph has no choice but to go to the next page/column. For example, 11 inches on an 8.5 x 11 inch page.

Hi David
Problem is that the amount of space to be filled could vary significantly. It might be just a few lines or it might be half a page. 😡

Have you tried this, Pat? Because the large amount of Space Below should take care of both the scenarios you specified.
