I've tried uninstalling Photoshop and Bridge CS5 and manually rebuilding the LaunchServices database, but still no luck.
Why do I have to be playing juggling matches with two identical versions of software? How can I streamline this?
Running OS 10.5.8

I imagine that if the products were bought singly, this wouldn't be a problem. I hope I can get an answer. (I had to reinstall Bridge and Photoshop CS5.)

I'm sure you have a good reason to have both running and that it may indeed be necessary, but not knowing the reason I can't be equally sure that there's no way to get around it. I'm a fine one to talk, with CS3, 4 and 5 all on my disk alongside 5.5. But I rarely need the earlier versions and 5 is zipped, I suppose to avoid a problem of my own on this, though I'm not using Bridge or Mini-Bridge.
