In a book I’m working on, I have two layers devoted to graphics: one CMYK and the other B&W.
I place a CMYK photo on the CMYK layer, then strip it of color in Photoshop, save it, and place it in the same location on the B&W layer.
But every now and then I have to move the image(s).
Is there a way to link the two images so that moving one image, the CMYK say, moves the B&W image identically?
MTIA.

Many years ago, I watched a presentation about Liquid Layout where the presenter had one set of images for the print version of a magazine and another set of images for the on-line version. The on-line images were on the pasteboard so were probably on the same layer, though.
Here’s a link to Acrobat’s info on liquid layout, in case it might work for your purposes:

The following is certainly a low-rent solution, but for “every now and then” I might remember the Transform Sequence Again command (Cmd-Opt-4) and just invoke it as needed after manually switching layers.
