Indesign CS6 - pdf forms

Hi again:

I am using CS6 to do pdf forms. All works except when the pdf form is opened in Safari or Chrome instead of downloading to hard drive. The fields are fine, but the Submit button doesn't fire up the mailto: field. I get a browser window that says

$$$/Dialog/Behaviors/GoToView/DefaultURL

If anyone can point me in the right direction, most appreciated.

AFAIK, anything outside of Acrobat or Reader is going to be a crapshoot.
