Mac Mini M2 Ventura - sorting out bugs

Finally got my Mac Mini M2 Ventura and am sorting out bugs. Anybody has suggestions they’d be appreciated.

1. Can’t always access dock. Preceding dock disappearance a 1/2” dark border appears then disappears around monitor. To get dock back I have to go into doc settings–don’t need to do anything just open setting.
2. I have to reenter password for sleep if I leave the computer alone for 15 minutes. 
3. I can't get any of my Painter 2023 brushes to paint or erase. I can fill canvas with gradients. I've repeatedly tried to deselect, checked layer mode, brush opacity. Affinity Photo v2.3 paints perfectly.

By the way Affinity Photo, Designer, Publication on sale total $74.24 now for all three together

Fixed all except how to stop having to reenter password for sleep if I leave the computer alone for 15 minutes.

Solutions:

1. Control click desktop

3. Shift click Painter icon, which gives me reset options.
