5 reasons we will remain there where we are...always developing..never
developed..

1. Nature of obstinacy: we are so deeply routed in our own convictions
that we never challenge the policies or principles..for us, if
something has existed for last 25 years it will exist and remain as
important for the years to come as well..in short..we keep saying
'change is only constant' only never believe in it..

2. The 'C' word: Corruption is there in all capitalist economies: this
is the biggest excuse for all those who are corrupt. But the fact is
different, corruption is about say taking money of approx 10-20 pc and
doing work of 80 pc..taking all 100pc in entirety is not
corruption..its bloody loot and while the perpetrators should be
charged with act of sedition, they are given royal prison:))

3. While the 'C' word sucks over entire philosophy of development,
infrastructure everything, the youth factor is major contributor that
should bother us.In today's time, the youth is so disoriented and un-
informed that you can count number of youth leaders in the entire
spectrum of country's politics. All this ignorant youth in an era of
wireless communication. Please dont consider success of Anna's fast for
this as exceptions cant be examples.

4. The News: if you remember early days of 'Samachar' on doordarshan,
Shammi narang and manjri joshi like anchors used to provide news. What
was their personal view or opinion didnt matter. Now times have
changed and in an era of digital world, the news always get shared
with views as a result.. what you see all around is views of so called
experts...and by chance if want to identify what is the exact point of
discussion..you will be in for surprise that hardly any news channel
will tell you in concrete un-biased terms..

5. The 'T' factor: From the ancient era of Prithviraj Chauhan to the
current era of Delhi bomb blast, we dont need our enemies
outside..they are well within our society..embedded, and comfortably
planning for another round..there are so many jaichands and meer
zafers spread that hardly we need any one sitting outside and
conspirating..add the politics to this and you get a super hit saga
from RGV..

Until I was a software engineer, I barely noticed all this. The illusion that s/w world encloses us in, I believed India is fast developing.
Now, being with public one among them, I notice all this in my day to day life and every moment I am here, in the local India, I feel I might change too :-(
