Roles and
Responsibilities: This position will act as a technical member of the T&SS
BIS Windows team. Duties include providing server infrastructure production
support, build/deploy services in support of the T&SS LOB through the
business aligned iCTO organization. Responsible to deployment team performing
activities related to system implementation, upgrades, and installation of
applications and software. Work closely with Application Development; respond to
business requirements and to implement enhancements that will improve the
reliability and performance of the system. Open System Engineer positions will
work a normal workweek with rotational on-call Tier III support
responsibilities.
Technical
Qualifications
In depth knowledge of all aspects of Windows
NT/2000/2003 systems
Well versed in TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, DHCP, DFS, AD.
Knowledge of SANs, Veritas, VMWare, Citrix, IIS, MS SQL, ASP, Visual Basic.
Five to eight years systems administration and engineering experience in a
large enterprise environment preferred.
