Position: QA Release and Configuration Manager
Location: Portland, OR
Duration: 6+ Months
Rate: $45-48/Hr BEST
Must Haves:
7+ years information
technology experience
4+ years experience in enterprise class systems,
system development, quality assurance, deployment, configuration management,
release management and change management methodologies and concepts
Familiarity with software configuration management tools such as ClearCase,
PVCS, etc.
Must have knowledge of industry standard Software Development
Life Cycles
Ability to effectively respond and manage to multiple
conflicting priorities
Ability to prioritize work and efficiently respond to
unexpected changes
Works collaboratively and effectively within a team of
peers
Must demonstrate an ability to work effectively within
cross-functional teams in collaborative environments
Establishes and
maintains open communication to cross-functional partners and within engineering
Project management techniques and tools with emphasis on project leadership
and communication
Requires effective oral, written and listening
communication skills
B.S. Computer Science or equivalent degree
ADDITIONAL
BACKGROUND:
Familiarity with project management and
modeling tools (Visio, MS Project)
ITIL certification preferred
Familiarity with integration technologies and products (MQ, JMS, ESB, etc)
Prior direct involvement with development, Quality Assurance or operational
support activities.
