CANDIDATES MUST HAVE PRIOR MANGAEMENT EXPERIENCE
A QA Manager must have a strong background in software engineering,
testing, and automation to drive the overall planning, execution, tracking, and
delivery of projects within the organization. To expand, the selected resource
must possess: Knowledge and hands-on experience with a variety of test
automation tools, experience with large scale enterprise product, experience
with relational databases, and management background. In addition, the QA
Manager should have experience coding and/or testing in the denoted
technologies.
This test manager will have complete responsibility for
the Testing Lifecycle phases for the Infrastructure Platform Projects. This will
include supervision of Project Lead Testers. This Manager will be responsible
for insuring quality testing deliverables for System and Integration Testing and
oversight and coordination with User Acceptance Testing. The Test Manager will
be providing Status directly to the Thechnical Delivery Director (and or
Technical Delivery Manager) assigned to these projects. In addition they will be
reporting status of testing activities on a weekly or as needed basis to the
Project Manager for these projects. The test manager will be expected to follow
CMMI Defined CareFirst processes in completing all testing documentation.
Test Manager will be repsonsible for managing and reporting on overall
testing lifecycle and deliverables. Manager should extensive large project
delivery experience in the area of testing. Experience in managing large testing
efforts across multiple platforms and geographical locations. Some Local Travel
will be expected.
Test Manager should have exetensive experience in
testing in the following areas:
Previous experience on Infrastructure,
Hardware, Software and multi-tiered business applications
Previous
experience with CMMi Level 3 (Should be able to go into Verification and
Validation at length)
Comprehension of the Requirement LifeCycle (Should be
able to QA a requirement for testablility)
Must have previous experience and
be able to describe experience of successful integration testing of SOA
interfaces
Must have experience with security concepts and technologies;
Identity Management, Authentication, Authorization
Experience Testing in
the following Technologies is also expected:
WebSphere WAS, WCM, Interwoven,
Pega, Tibco, IBM TIM/TAM, LDAP, IBM DB2, Oracle
*Plan, coordinate,
and direct organizational quality activities to ensure compliance with the
customer -specific policies, requirements, specifications, and standards, as
well as the organizational policies and procedures.
* Ensure an independent
evaluation of the organization and projects' adherence to policies, procedures
and plans, as well as the quality of work products.
* Plan, coordinate, and
direct project-level quality activities to ensure compliance with the
organizational and customer-specific policies and procedures as appropriate.
* Conduct assessments/reviews to ensure compliance with documented plans,
standards, and procedures
* Train and mentor project teams to understand and
follow project and organizational processes (as applicable).
* Provide
Subject Matter Expertise and Moderator support as needed to projects in using
the Peer Review Process.
* Conduct assessments/reviews with select projects
to map CareFirst Process Implementation to compliance with CMMI
* Report QA
data, measurements and project compliance data to Senior Management as
necessary
