Universities Military plan counter-insurgency against US environmentalists

They won't plan ahead to avert global warming (they imagine they can maintain their profit margins)

But they are planning ahead to make sure "insurgents" don't  make trouble for the 1% onbce the shot hits the fans. The pretence of the university to be anything olther than intellectual pimps for the ruling elite isd exposed. Students should shut these places down. SF

 

The military has listed universities in programs designed to identify and suppress insurgent movements for social change. The target of these future counter-insurgencies action will be largely Americans--e.g., protesters against global war...ming, groups like Occupy Wall St. This is the first time universities have assisted the Pentagon in preparation for leading military actions against Americans. The universities are not subverting the very purpose of academic neutrality--they should be prosecuted for these un-American activities. The headline misses this critical point--the role of universities. SF
