Mustafa Darwesh: GAZA IS LITERALLY BREATHING ITS LAST. We won't
bother you with our news anymore. It's only a matter of days, and
everyone will be martyred. Return to your normal lives. But... We will
not forgive you. Thank you for your support over the past 18 months.
April 4 2025
At this very moment, I’m Dr Hamza, speaking to you from the Gaza Strip. The occupation is exterminating us all at this very moment. The bombing is intensifying across all areas of the Strip, from north to south. Children are bereft of heads, and martyrs are dismembered, their bodies indistinguishable from their bodies. Blood is everywhere, and body parts are hanging from trees and walls. Will you pay attention to us, even for a moment? Will you speak for us? Can we have a minute?
People in Gaza on social media taking their Shahadas before an
imminent death or pleading for the world to take them out following
Israel's intensified genocide is the most heartbreaking thing of all time. And this is the result of the world’s shameful silence and ignorance. April 4 2025
It seems we won't survive this time. Save us, do something for us, defend us. I hope my family and I die from bombing and not starvation. April3 2025
After this tweet, I have decided to stop posting permanently and bid farewell to everyone I had the honor of knowing here. Writing has always been, and still is, my only escape from everything I feel. Amid this genocide, I decided to share what I wrote and expose the crimes of an occupation that can only be described as more horrific than any horror one could imagine, or fail to imagine. Like any fool, I believed that my voice could make a difference. At first, I was eager, sharing everything my hands could write. But I do not know what you need to see or read to finally rise against all that is happening, not for our sake, but for your conscience, for your faith, so that you do not struggle with your conscience when you go to sleep, so that your free thoughts do not contradict your actions. But it seems I am just another number, like the countless martyrs who have ascended to the sky. You will grow used to my absence, just as you have with the others. Perhaps I will be martyred, and you will never even know. I do not want to ask you to remember me, because that will not help me then. I will be in the hands of Allah, the Just, under whom no one is wronged. I will not forgive. April 4 2025

Abubaker Abed: Almost a month since the blockade: The fact that my
family and I may resort to pet food again scares me more than ever. I
can't believe I'd eat it for the third time. Malnourishment and pet food
are like adding fuel to the fire. You won't comprehend this feeling in
words... March 28 2025

Gaza is a graveyard of the Muslim world’s conscience, Saleema Gul, April 6 2025
Gaza’s blood stains not only the hands of Israel, the U.S., and the West — but also those of 2 billion Muslims who remain silent witnesses.
A week ago, Muslims across the world observed the Eid al-Fitr holiday on Sunday, March, 30. Millions celebrated with nice clothes, decorated homes and sweet desserts, as is the Islamic tradition on the Eid holidays. But in Gaza, Eid was observed under the weight of immense grief. Palestinian journalist Abubaker Abed, from Gaza, writes: “For 538 days, I mistakenly believed that the Muslim world would come to our aid I ask you now: How can you rejoice while we are wrapped in shrouds? How can you wear your finest clothes while we are wrapped in shrouds? How can you enjoy sweets while the children in my neighbourhood draw food in the sand?” .. Abed’s piece, written from a state of malnutrition, moral clarity, and raw anguish, is a mirror held up to the Muslim world, a mirror that reflects not just silence, but decay. What have we really done for Gaza? That is the only question worth asking this Eid .. According to Al Jazeera’s live tracker, since the genocide began, over 61,709 Palestinians have been killed, including 17,492 children, 111,588 injured, with 14,222 reported missing and presumed dead. These figures do not include deaths caused by starvation, malnutrition, or the lack of medical care, as the majority of Gaza’s hospitals have been destroyed by Israel, as it continues to block the entry of medical supplies and essential medicines. And yet, the mood in much of the Muslim world, though sympathetic, feels detached. Empathy without action is complicity. We must ask ourselves: Is anything we’ve done for Gaza and the rest of Occupied Palestine truly enough? .. Yes, it’s true: much of the Arab and Muslim world is ruled by dictators, autocrats, or governments reliant on Western support for their survival. But the Muslim world must ask itself: is that a valid excuse? Must Palestinians give everything while we hide behind fear? And how else will change come if people do not mobilize against massive injustice with massive mobilization? .. The Quran is not ambiguous on injustice: “What is [the matter] with you that you do not fight in the cause of Allah for those who are oppressed among men, women, and children?” (Quran 4:74) Dr. the Muslim world faces not just a political crisis, but a moral and spiritual collapse. In an open letter to Islamic scholars, he asks: “If scholars are the inheritors of the prophets, why have they created such a gap between religious instruction and real-world action?”
Muslim scholars issue 'fatwa' calling for 'jihad' against Israel as strikes pummel Gaza, 4 April 2025
Ali al-Qaradaghi, the secretary general of the International Union Of Muslim Scholars called on all Muslim countries on Friday “to intervene immediately militarily, economically and politically to stop this genocide and comprehensive destruction, in accordance with their mandate. The failure of the Arab and Islamic governments to support Gaza while it is being destroyed is considered by Islamic law to be a major crime against our oppressed brothers in Gaza”. Qaradaghi is one of the region’s most respected religious authorities and his decrees carry significant weight among the world’s 1.7bn Sunni Muslims .. “The Committee issues a fatwa requiring an air, land, and sea blockade of the occupying enemy in support of our brothers in Gaza” .. Images and videos of intense strikes across Gaza showed widespread destruction in densely populated neighbourhoods, as many Palestinians shared what they described as their final messages to the world. Journalist Mohammed Abu Mostafa expressed his frustration with the international community in several posts, writing: “Goodbye to the most treacherous community in history. In a few hours, Gaza will be erased. You will only find us in heaven.” Meanwhile, Palestinian activist and journalist Aboud Battah urged people to speak up about Gaza: “Talk about us. By God, we are being annihilated in silence.”
