Dear Friends
Greetings!
The Government of India announced on 21st November 2025 , through a press release of the Ministry of Labour and Employment, that the Labour Codes passed by the parliament in 2019 and 2020 have come into force. Though, all the related rules have not yet been finalised and published. Most of the trade unions and workers’ organisations have been voicing their reservations on various provisions in these codes. After the recent announcement, these codes are again in focus and the labour activists are discussing them again.
In this context, an online discussion is being organised by Justice Democratic Forum, National Alliance for Labour Rights and Working People’s Coalition. Following are the details of the meeting:
Date: 18th December, 2025 Time: 3 pm to 5.30 pm.
