What version were you using?
What does crash mean? Windows blue screen? Red popup error with some message like "Unknown glyph"? Executable just exits?
If it is the latter there might be "crashdump" files we can get off you? Otherwise generally we need a save game just before the crash with instructions on what causes it.
I think the saving needs some polish in this regard. At this time, saves are made scarce for design reasons but with crashes happening we should really be preserving saves both for the player to resume and for us to obtain and debug. In fact if it does "just exit" the first thing that should happen on startup is a popup that says so and offers to resume.
