I've modded Aleister Black onto Drew Gulak. I've fixed the name, entrance, moves, and theme. I'm now trying to change his weight and weight class. I changed him to 215 lbs and made him a light heavyweight with Cheat Engine. The changes show when Cheat Engine is open but, once closed, he reverts back to being a cruiserweight. Is there any way to save these changes so he will permanently be a light heavyweight?
I'm not really sure I figured out anything magical here, but it seems like if I close the game prior to closing Cheat Engine, the height, weight class, and changes like that seem to save even if Cheat Engine isn't open the next time I open the game.
I'm not 100% sure, but I think you need to do something that makes the game expect a change to pofos in order to force the game to save them. I've had changes disappear on me before. Now I change a superstar's attribute value in game and let it save the changes, it seems to work.
But right now there ^ are a few vids going over general CheatEngine use for WWE 2k22 and 2k20. Oh and if the short video is not clear enough, that's why I made longer ones too, showing every step, it's just some people ask for short guides and others for more involved ones. There are also many things you can do with it, like search for offsets yourself or first just using a cheat table, I suggest learning the latter first and doing your own edits later. Built-in tutorial explains too much complex stuff that isn't needed if someone did the work of finding offsets for you already, as it usually happens.
This site, Smacktalks, has guides on more complex use and you can move to those after you figure out basic use of switching a 3 to 1 to make manager playable. I recorded a longer video where I try to follow one of guides here is recorded but needs editing because I am a slowpoke and stumble too many times. xD
