Hostel map + INFO

Here we go!

You can find attached the map of hostels with the principal spot you need.

Santi Romano Hostel: It's placed inside the universitary campus.
San Saverio Hostel: Albergheria street n°4
Bus Station: Balsamo street (next to train station)
Hospitals: Ospedale paolo giaccone (Vespro street)


I selected also the principal streets you have to go trough:


RED LINE: Via Balsamo, Piazza Giulio Cesare, Corso Tukory
ORANGE LINE: Via Ernesto Basile, Via Filiciuzza, Via del vespro
GREEN LINE: Via Forlanini, Via Ernesto Basile, Viale delle scienze


- In corso tukory you have the possibility to take the bus (but there are 10 minutes maximum by walk!)
- At the airport you can take the buses in order to arrive at the bus station

The bus companies departing from PALERMO AIRPORT are:
GESAP (http://www.gesap.it/index.php?sezione=212&lang=en) 5,80 Euro
Prestia e Comandè (italian site: http://www.prestiaecomande.com/ ) 5,60 Euro

Buses depart every 30 minutes!! Prices:

The bus company departing from TRAPANI AIRPORT is:
TERRAVISION (http://www.terravision.eu/ ) 15,75 Euro

Two, maybe unnecessary, but for me important questions to be clear:

1. When we (fo example I arrive on the 28th of july) we have to go then to the San Saverio, and from the 1th of august we will be replaced to the Santi Romano? I wrote as well to arrive before, so I have a booked room too, do I?

2. If I have the european health card do I need any kind of insurance in more?

1. Yes. You will move to Santi Romano at the beginning of the clerkship. The room is already booked also for you. :)

I hope you don't mind if i answer to your question instead of andrea :p

1 when you arrive on 28th you have to go to san saverio and then on 1st august you (and all the other who arrived before like you) will move to santi romano

2 you don't need any other insurance, the european health insurance card is enough
