Hi Guys!

Someone asks me infos about the dormitory. These are the F.A.Q. about the lodging!

How many beds are there in the room?

Even if the rooms are double, the two bedroom are separated by a living room. Every student has his door and his indipendence.

What about baths, kitchens, laundries?

There are bathrooms in each floor, not inside the rooms. (like at school!)
There is no kitchen. (the canteen is inside the building however!)
There are laundries at first floor!

Do we need sheets, pillows and towels
?

No, It's not necessary! :)

Are there internet connection?

There is WiFi but it need account. We have the possibility to give you some internet accounts!

Prepare for next emails:

- Infos about extra days lodging
- Maps of the hostel and hospital with underlined routes

Thank u in advance!

Hey Andrea!
thanks for the info, but i have some further questions=)
I was wondering about 1) city transportation-is there any student discount,
2) or if you have any suggestions which mobile company to choose,or if
you provide us with a sim card-because exchange students in Croatia
had free bus trunsport and sim cards (they had to bring a decoded
mobile,of course)
3) and if you can say some general prices of goods in Palermo- like
coffee, coke, pizza, some groceries
(bread,milk,yogurt,cheese,apples,mellon..)- so we know how much money
to bring.
I know it's a bit early,so I don't expect the answer immediately, but
in the near future=)

thank you very much!
ci vediamo pronto,
Ivana Babić

Hi guys

I'm going to answer to your further questions

First of all i'd like to say, in addition to which andrea just wrote, that the most part of the room are single room. But there are also double room of which andrea's description is perfect.

Orsola (and the other who need it) don't worry about the other hostel :) because we are in contact with it and we are going to manage everything you need to go there, you just have to wait and follow andrea's starting signal :p

Public transportation: unfortunately there isn't any student discount neither for us :(

Sim-card: we suggest you the italian mobile company called WIND, and if you haven't an old mobile  you shouldn't have any particular problem to use it

And the hardest question....the prices of goods :O
- milk I L 0,50-0.80 €
- coffee(obviously espresso :D) 0.70-1.00 €
- pizza (ketchup and mayonese on the pizza are forbidden :p) 3- 5
- coke 1-2
- fruit: there is a popular market really close to both hostels with very cheap and tasty fruit
Obviously you should consider a range of price because the price depend on where you buy the things

I hope i clear some your doubt

For any kind of  doubt or concern and even for a psicological support :p you can write in this mailing list and we gonna try to help you

See you soon
