CPC response !

Hi,

I had received AY08-09 related letter in Apr-10. Subsequently i spoke
to CPC call center (?) and got below responses, (called tele no
provided in the order)

1. No need to panic on 30 days time period.

2. For ratifications compile a ratification letter and send it to
below address,
Central Processing Center- Income Tax
Prestige Alpha
#48/1, 48/2, Beraten Agrahara, Begur hobli
Hosur Road, Bangalore-560 100

Write FOR RATIFICATION on top of the address.
Can send it as either ordinary post or Speed post. Prefer speed post,
as you will have acknoledgement for further communication.

3. Send the ratification letter as soon as possible by mentioning and
explaining the descripancies in the order.

4. Mention Communication Ref no and PAN number along with FULL name in
the ratification letter. Subject can be 'Ratification'.


I'm sending in next couple of days the Ratification letter. I also
advise all to send the same, as other means of getting ratifications
are bleak !

Just spoke to the person on 08043456700  and she asked me to send the
letter to the address mentioned on the Envelope.

I guess its ok to send the mail to the below address also, but she mentioned
Envelope address as the preferred address.

Hi Vikram,

I compiled below letter after Call center person suggested me to
compile it. I do not whether this is right or not, but call center
person did explain me format; only top level.
If think is useful, then free to use. I have already sent ratification
letter in this format.

IT dept should help with all the details, instead making life
miserable by not understanding the seriousness of the isse to us. We
have to just try level best to comply with IT dept rules to save our
skin !

With Reference to the above, I would like to bring to your notice
that, few entries under “As Computed Under Section 143(1)” column in
the are not matching with my computations. In view of this, i need
ratifications before doing payment of tax amount due as computed by
Central Processing Center.

1. Income from Salary (Sl No-1): .

2. Tax on Special Income (Sl No-16):

Above said particulars differences between my and CPC calculations
also reflected in other computations. Hence, request you to provide me
ratifications on the above.
