The Lancet Planetary Health's Alastair Brown, Editor-in-Chief, is joined by a global panel of experts:

  • Margot W. Parkes, Professor, School of Health Sciences and Northern Medical Program, University of Northern British Columbia, Canada
  • Adetoun Mustapha, Adjunct Associate Professor of Environmental Epidemiology, Lead City University, Nigeria
  • Ramon Lorenzo Luis Rosa Guinto, Associate Professor of Global Public Health, and Inaugural Director of the Planetary and Global Health Program, St. Luke's Medical Center College of Medicine, Philippines
  • Anna Stewart Ibarra, Executive Director, Inter-American Institute for Global Change Research, Uruguay

Many of the big issues facing society—climate change, biodiversity loss, pollution, health and social inequities—cut across traditional disciplines and sectors. Meaningfully addressing these issues calls for engagement with diverse ideas, methods, frameworks, and perspectives. Our expert panel will share their experiences across a range of integrative projects as well as the benefits and challenges of designing integrative research processes and outputs to inform policy and practice.

Can't attend the live webinar? By registering, you will receive an email with a link to the on-demand version so that you can watch it at your convenience.

This webinar is part of a programme of activities that will run throughout the year with the aim to bring these issues to life and convene the right people and resources to drive change in these areas.

To stay updated on future 200th anniversary webinars and offerings, register for The Lancet's weekly Update Alerts, which will feature content collections, webinars, podcast episodes, videos, infographics, and more throughout the year. In the meantime, explore our additional resources below.

Help us shine a Spotlight on Health and Climate Change: tackling climate change through the lens of human health.

Yours sincerely,

The Lancet Group
