Dear friends and partners for planetary health,
Day 2 of the Singapore Global Health Film Festival 2026 (28 January) is dedicated to Planetary Health, and we’re excited to invite you to an evening that brings climate, community wellbeing, and our shared future to the big screen.
We’ll be screening 2040, a hopeful, solutions-focused documentary showcasing real, scalable innovations reshaping food systems, energy, transport, and community design. It offers an inspiring vision of what’s possible when we act together for a healthier,
more resilient planet. 🎥 Watch the trailer: https://vimeo.com/880472441
This evening is part of the broader Singapore Global Health Film Festival 2026, presented by the SingHealth Duke-NUS Global Health Institute and Global Health Film, with support from Hilleman Laboratories, Duke-NUS Medical School, and the SingHealth
International Collaboration Office (ICO). Across two nights, the festival explores outbreak preparedness, climate resilience, and health equity; using film to spark conversation and deepen understanding.
As part of our Planetary Health network, we hope you’ll join us and invite someone who may be curious about climate, sustainability, or global health. Each screening is followed by a panel discussion with filmmakers, academics, and practitioners, and
the evening concludes with networking over light refreshments.
