Hello, new to Clojure and Incanter looks really cool

Hey, so I do a lot of Hadoop stuff and other distributed systems.

I have been reading up on using Clojure for more data analysis stuff and it looks interesting.

Right now 80% of our Map/Reduce tasks are Python based and the other 20% Java based.

We are starting to-do a lot more stuff real time with Scala. 

Feel this might be a good way to start to tie those two together more.

Joe, have you looked at Cascalog? It's a Hadoop query language in Clojure that I think you'll find will help.

I did awhile ago when I first checked out Scalding.  Hadoop is great for async jobs I use very much a lot for making OLAP cubes.

Lots of decisions and learning happen in mid stream which we are looking to have backed with Accumulo and some new interfaces this was looking promising
