I am planning on submitting a proposal for the google summer of code to integrate core.matrix with incanter, I have had some discussion with the core.matrix folks and I was wondering what sort of support/help I could get from this side of the project. The project idea is to use core.matrix as the matrix library for an implementation of incanter. This would hopefully involve little change in the higher level code, with most of the work going into replacing the colt libraries with core.matrix ones. I am wondering if anyone has any interest in this, as I would likely require some sort of mentor from incanter as well as core.matrix. I am sorry this is a bit late, I actually thought I posted this a few days ago, but I guess it didn't actually get put up.

Hi

If nobody will step in, then I can be a mentor for your project from Incanter side - how we'll proceed?

Hi Alex,

Thanks for volunteering to get involved with this! Think it should be a great project.

I think the next step is that all proposals need to go through the GSoC application process during May.

See for more details:

You can sign up as a mentor on the Google site I believe.

Hi, I just wanted to say that I've written and submitted my
proposal(actually I did this a couple days ago).
I also wanted to say thanks to Alex, if I do get picked I think it
will really help having a bit of advice from someone really familiar
with the incanter codebase.
