sdk.Global always shows undefined

Hi, 
Can anyone please let me know why the "sdk.Global" always shows undefined to me, I very badly need to use the global "addSidebarContentPanel" but cannot because of the above issue. I have the latest  Inbox.js loaded in my extension package, any insight would be greatly appreciated, using chrome version 86.

The sdk.Global object is only available if you pass 2 as the version in your InboxSDK.load() call. It should be safe to upgrade from version 1 as long as your extension hasn't been giving any deprecration warnings at runtime from the InboxSDK.
