The Gmail API allows for extension of the SEARCH command to be able to, for example, only retrieve the emails in Gmail's Primary category (note that this is different than labels). Does Inbox allow for this extension? If so, is it performed through tag filtering?

Hi Will,

We don't currently provide a proxy for the Gmail SEARCH command. Full-text search functionality is on our road map though.

We expose Gmail labels and the Priority Inbox (tag 'important'), but not Gmail categories.

What are you wanting to do that uses Gmail categories?
