Social media possibility

Hello. I was wondering if you would consider creating an Instagram page in particular, where you would post one native species, every day, or other day, to educate the masses. This could also trickle over to NZ animals. Apologies if this has be done already. I have only just begun my research into this.

I have passed this thought to our communications team.  I'm out doing the chch360 great walk for next week and then in China for a few weeks so not much time to think about this but supportive.  Hopefully Kimberley or jon or murray will be in touch.

I think there is a facebook group or something aloing the lines of "observation of the day"... not really about educating on species, but it is a good starting point for regular self directed learning...

I saw your earlier suggestion.  I’m hoping Kimberley, Murray or Jon may have an idea here for feeding an existing weekly iNaturalist pick (recorded on other social media) to Instagram. Is there any problem with that guys?  Note also Waka, that there is a project on iNaturalist NZ – Mātaki Taiao called Taonga/Taoka that we had hoped might feed onto various tangata whenua websites via widget or API as a means of raising knowledge, awareness and engagement of cultural values of species in Aotearoa.
