A huge number of Velella velella were washed up on Titahi Bay beach when I was there on Wednesday. I used NatureWatch NZ to identify them. Thank you!

Good one - great you were able to identify them using our NatureWatch NZ site (http://naturewatch.org.nz)! I think I saw something about this on the NatureWatch Facebook page too.

This forum is mainly for technical issues etc so it's not often read by our wider community who use http://naturewatch.org.nz to post observations and share comments.
