Places

I am discovering more and more how cool the Places function is.I created one with a polygon for Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller NHP that is in my town. Now,  I am wondering if anyone knows if you can create a place, but keep it private? Is it possible to make a private place so that a user can track any data that is there or comes in there?

Glad you like places, despite their clunkiness. There are no private
places and no plans to build them.
