How to follow someone on iNaturalist

Hello,

I just joined iNaturalist and my profile shows (as expected) that I am following 0 people.  I do have someone I would like to follow but cannot figure out HOW to do that.  I find no help information in the iNaturalist help nor searching for "follow" on this google group site.  I see no way from my profile to do this and if I go to the person I want to follow I can see his list of followers but don't see how to follow him from there either.  I am sure it must be easy to do but for now it eludes me.  Any pointers on how to accomplish this?

Navigate to the profile of the user you want to follow (you can use
the People tab to search for users) and click on 'Follow XXX' next to
their name - see attached screenshot

Go to the profile page of the person you want to follow, and in the top left right next to their name you should see two blue buttons: "Message" and "Follow [their name]."  Screenshot attached.  

Clicking the "follow" button once will do it.  (I find the buttons in that shade of blue really easy to overlook, so you're not alone. :))
