We were having some eggs taken by a critter or two and so I set up a security camera to try to get  the thief in action.  It was a success so I have a 90 sec video of a raven (I am pretty sure) landing, going into the coop, coming out with egg in beak, dropping it, opening it, eating it and then flying away.  It is pretty fun and  I would like to upload it to iNat if that is possible though I don't recall anything but still pics to be seen there.   If that doesn't work, I can give you my facebook thingie so you can go there to see it.

I, too, would like to see the ability to have video supported on iNaturalist.  Even limiting it to 30-90 seconds would be helpful to show the gizz of many animals, something that photos just don't do very well.

While it doesn't solve the problem completely... Can't you post an animated gif? Or is that wrong.

gif files are limited in ability, and don't have audio.
Plus there is a lot of extra work converting a video over to a gif file.

I always upload the video observation to Vimeo or YouTube and give the link in the observation description such as this one: http://www.inaturalist.org/observations/418639

That is a good Idea.  All I would need to do now would be to learn how to upload a video to  YouTube, I guess.
