This has got to be the most unfriendly user site of all that I have ever been on.  Difficult to navigate and use!

I posted a photo that had obvious issues with white-balance as the color had a lavender tinge to the white flower petals and I corrected the color and reposted but am unable to delete the other image.

How do I delete the other image?

No way it's even close to that. I could show you some awful sites. I find this to be one of the better ones but I suppose I am biased.  If you hit edit on the observation page you will see any photos you added and you uncheck the ones you don't want.

Sorry about the usability issues. Unfortunately it's hard to be
equally easy to use for everyone, since everyone has different needs
and expectations. We did hire a designer this spring, though, and
improving usability is pretty much her mandate, so hopefully things
will be improving this year (though she's mostly focused on mobile).

Charlie's instructions for deleting a photo should work. If you're
using the iPhone app, you should be able to edit an observation, tap
the image, and tap the trash icon in the lower left, then sync your
observations.

Hi Fay - in the future be sure to link to mention the device you're using (website/app) and the view you're struggling with.

If you want to delete the observation, click 'Delete'

If you just want to delete the photo, click 'Edit' then uncheck the photo and save it again
