Hi all

This is a sort of announcement. It has been confirmed by the City of Winnipeg Forrester that the Emerald Ash Borer has been found in Winnipeg/Manitoba. It was only a matter of time, but it's still kind of depressing given all the ash trees we have.

noooooooooooooooooooo!

We still don't have it in Vermont, but it seems inevitable.

Best of luck.

I (and the whole province) have been waiting for this for some time. It was found in Minnesota south of us, and Thunder Bay and Duluth to the east. The rotten thing is that after Dutch Elm Disease, the City planted Ash as a replacement.

nooooooooo! is what I felt when I saw the news this morning. And good luck to Vermont!
