Both the random/obscured location and the true location for each obscured observation are displayed to me on the map at my user observations page, e.g. here
Only the obscured location is displayed on the main Observations page map, e.g. here

Since I am logged into my own account, shouldn't only the true location be displayed to me in both instances?

Hi Cassi,

Unfortunately the tiles on the maps that show all observations are cached so we can't easily show private coordinates for some obs mixed in with public coordinates for others.

The older 'markers' that we're still showing on the My Observations page can mix these types of locations. But we're not using markers any more on the main Observations page, because we can only show a few markers at a time.
