Why do I get different results for one search versus the other?  I thought it queried based on a polygon for second one? It should grab all those Bombus.

I found more about this issue. It is only listing those that are on the place checklist under the species guide tab. If I go to the observations tab it has all the Bombus found listed. I thought the place checklist would automatically add new species found?

Hi Kent,

RG observations are queued to update checklists an hour after they're made, most of these missing Bombus obs became RG 24 hours ago, I guess thats a reasonable given the delay in the queue experienced yesterday (e.g. all the processing photos), but I'm baffled by this one http://www.inaturalist.org/observations/401058 which became RG 6 months ago and was still missing from the checklist... Maybe there's a bug here.

In any event, I manually reloaded listed taxa from observations on the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park Check List so place species guide now lists all 5:  http://www.inaturalist.org/places/marsh-billings-rockefeller-national-historical-park-woodstock-vt-us?utf8=%E2%9C%93&q=bombus&commit=Search#q=bombus&commit=Search
