In the Lexicon for common names

Please note isi Zulu and Zulu are the same language - is there a reason for its duplication?

Why is Sesotho not in its alphabetical position?

Tony, what would be the better one to keep, isi Zulu or Zulu?

The Lexicons are being worked on, we have a few duplicates. The reason is any user can make a new lexicon.

I dont know. isiZulu is technically correct in isiZulu, but in English, Zulu would be more correct.  Some locals differentiate between isiZulu and language and amaZulu the people, but mainly in areas were Zulu is spoken, elsewhere both are just "Zulu" - the context is usually obvious.

Sorry: for the record:  In Zulu it is one word isiZulu.  two words is not correct.  Also, the prefix does not count to the alphabetical sorting of the word, so isiZulu needs to be found under Z and not under i.

If one has selected English as one's language it should say 'Zulu' if one has selected Zulu as one's language it should say 'isiZulu' but i don't think iNat has a zulu version yet?

No: this is not in the page, but just for the common names ...
so for example:

Should say

Zuluumlunge     (English lexicon)

isiZuluumlunge     (Zulu lexicon)
