I have the following names for https://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/566315-Roridula-gorgonias  (manage names view)

Names for Roridula gorgonias (Southern Dewstick)

Taxa can have many common names. We support one default common name globally, which can be changed here by dragging a name to the top of the list. You can also specify default names in different places by editing the name and adding a place, but please only do this when different places have conflicting names.

Global names

  •  Fly Bush (English) Edit
    default
  •  Gorgon Dewstick (English) Edit
  •  Southern Dewstick (English) Edit

southern Africa (region)

  •  Southern Dewstick Edit
    default
  •  Gorgon Dewstick Edit

But although it shows Southern Dewstick here, if I go back to the taxon page it says:

Roridula gorgonias Gorgon Dewstick

southern Africa
AKA Southern Dewstick (English)

And for observations - if I look at the observations view:

- why is it not showing "Southern Dewstick"

I did have this previously, but I thought it was an indexing problem as it fixed up after a few hours.   But this is now almost 12 hours later.

weird - I saw what you describe. But after going here https://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/566315/names it seems to have sorted itself out. Maybe some cache somewhere that I inadvertently reset?
