Dear Inasafe-users,

I'm try to run the inasafe plug-in 3.2.4 and every time it goes into a dump crush as Im assigning the layers their relevant roles, ie hazard, exposure aggregation.
What could be the problem? I have used the previous versions i didnt encounter this problem. Please advise the way forward.

Regards,

Gumbi.

Hi Gumbi

Thank you for your query - see below for a few questions that will help us to understand the problem.

Could you clarify that you are getting a crash when using the keywords wizard?

Can you confirm which operating system you are using (e.g. Windows 8.1 64 bit) and which QGIS version (e.g. 2.8.4 64 bit) so that we can replicate the issue here?

Are you able to provide any more information e.g. which step of the wizard you are when the crash occurs?

Thanks!

Regards

Tim

Regards,

Gumbi.

Hi Gumbi

Ok I am going to take a look for you tomorrow and we will make a bug fix release with a fix as soon as possible ok? I think it is the same as a known issue we had with the Wizard in the past - I just need to test a little here and see if I can replicate it.

Regards

Tim

Just to let you know that I was able to replicate the issue. We will make a fix and put out a fresh version of InaSAFE as soon as possible. I made a ticket for the issue here:

Dear Gumbi

My apologies for the delay in getting back to you. I have prepared a new plugin package (version 3.2.5) which includes fixes from Borys and the InaSAFE team to address the problems you experienced. To install (assuming you have windows) simply download and run this file:

If you could test it and confirm it works well for you, I will push the release out to the QGIS plugins installer and announce the release (we will get some other users to test it too before doing that).

Regards

Tim
