I would like to emprove InaSAFE for Europe (or almost for Italy, my country).
Have you got some ideas for getting start?

Great to hear that you would like to work with InaSAFE! Could you give some details about what is is that you actually want to do? Programming? Running analysis? Contributing time to help the project? We will certainly be happy to have your involvement in the project!

I think that the first thing that we could do is to customize InaSAFE for floods and landslides in Italy.

It may be good to start with getting some in-depth training from Marco Bernasocchi (resident in Switzerland). Marco B. is a subcontractor of mine and I can recommend him, though you would need to contact him independently to negotiate any training costs with him if he is able to help you.

There is also a lot of technical documentation available on http://inasafe.org in the developer documentation, including documentation on how to write impact functions.

You are also welcome to use the inasafe-dev and inasafe-users mailing list for any technical questions and we will support you as far as we can through that list.

If you do find any particular technical issues, please file issues on http://github.com/AIFDR/inasafe/issues and we will try to fix them as soon as possible.

We look forward to hearing more from you and your team in the future!
