Hi All

I'm sorry to keep requesting delays, but we really want a good quality release and our daily application walk throughs are still suffering from a number of issues. Everyone has been pitching in and making a huge effort to getting 4.0 release ready so it is not from lack of effort that we want to delay. I want to suggest that we make another beta release (Beta 4) tomorrow and then do a review next week Wednesday to see if things are release ready.

Iyan I don't know if you are on the InaSAFE-dev list so I have CC'd you hear - it would be really great to get some testing & feedback from HOT's side. Ideally using develop branch in git, or the nightly builds at http://nightly.inasafe.org.

I hope that does not negatively impact on any of your work plans?

Regards

Tim

Hello Tim,

Currently I'm still in Oman and the team are giving training this week. Our team already started the testing last week. I will check with the team and get back to you for more detail about the testing and status.

Best,

Hi Tim,

The DMInnovation team needs to take a break from testing and focus on other work. Maybe we can review again next week and pick up testing then once the release blockers have been addressed.

Regards,
Charlotte

That sounds good thanks Charlotte - and thanks so much for all the feedback you and your team have been providing.

@Iyan thanks also to you for your reply - I look forward to your team's feedback - please make sure they regularly pull the latest code as the fixes are coming in at a very fast pace!

Regards

Tim
