Hi all

Last week we tagged InaSAFE 4.0 Alpha release. We have made test packages here:

But I should caution that the release is 'very alpha' and in no way intended for production use. Rather it is there for technically orientated folks to see how the new architecture works and get a look at some sample outputs. There are more details in the above release page outlining what is included in the alpha release.

We are marching on with the beta release next month but would like to revise a little our previously posted release schedule as most of the developers are going to be in Rome for the GeoNode summit next week (we will be showing off GeoSSAFE there too) and we need to extend our time window to cater for that. Here are our revised expected release dates for beta and final 4.0 release:

20 December 2016 - InaSAFE 4.0 Beta
16 January 2017 - InaSAFE 4.0 Final

Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any concerns about the release plan.

Best regards

Tim
