yuzu Emulator is the Android version of this popular Nintendo Switch emulator. With it, you can run your Nintendo Switch games on any Android device, whether a smartphone or tablet. The more powerful your device's processor, the better performance you'll get when playing each game. This emulator is open source and is developed by the creators of Citra, the best emulator for Nintendo 3DS.
yuzu Emulator supports thousands of games, and you can even choose the resolution and textures applied to each one. It's also compatible with mods, so you can add mods to improve resolution or performance, for example, or to swap character skins.
When you open yuzu Emulator for the first time, you'll have to add your \"prod.keys\" file. After that, you can add whatever available games and start playing. When playing games on yuzu Emulator, you can use the touch keys on the screen or connect a gamepad. Games can be played locally, in split-screen, or cooperatively if that feature is available.
yuzu Emulator doesn't include any games or copyright-infringing files. To play a game legally on yuzu Emulator, you must own the original game. If you want to enjoy your Nintendo Switch games on Android, downloading the yuzu Emulator APK is the best option.

I currently have a desktop computer that I want to emulate my switch on. I was thinking of selling my switch and getting a handheld pc, because I have a ton of steam games. I have a few switch games that I enjoy, and I have all of them as physical cartridges. Is there a way to transfer my save data from a game to yuzu? I don't want to do it if I have to restart all of my games, as I already have a lot of progress on all of them. I have nintendo switch online, would using the cloud save feature to transfer the progress to an emulator work?
I've been trying to play Super Mario Odyssey on yuzu and my controller (Switch Pro) keeps malfunctioning. While playing it'll lock the sticks into specific positions or press buttons at random, causing the character to randomly run in circles, crouch, jump or the camera to move around.
The incredible team building the Nintendo Switch emulator yuzu have a new progress report out for June 2023 and it's quite a doozy. Yes June, they're running over previous work. As usual, it's a lengthy read full of technical speak and exciting features and fixes so I'm here to summarise the important bits for you.
Usage: Launch yuzu from your desktop app-launcher or run the command yuzu from the terminal. If you have already installed yuzu by alternative means, use the command snap run yuzu. To launch yuzu-cmd, run the command snap run yuzu.yuzu-cmd.Enable the relevant permissions. Yuzu folder location: $HOME/snap/yuzu/common/.local/share/yuzu
To install both the prod.keys and the Switch firmware, start Yuzu in the Steam Deck's desktop mode, and if it is the first time you start the emulation tool, it'll warn you about the missing files. Next, click on File in the top left corner, then to Open yuzu folder, and here open up the keys folder. This is where you want to drop both the prod.keys and title.keys files.
As for the Switch firmware, navigate back to the yuzu folder, then go to nand/system/Contents/registered/ and drag in all the files of your firmware. There are a whole bunch of them. Restart Yuzu, and you're good to go.
With the recent launch of the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti, there has been a lot of discussion around the card's switch to a 128-bit bus for memory and the overall capacity remaining stagnant at 8GB. But with NVIDIA bumping up the L2 Cache, delivering improved 1% lows in our benchmarks, and additional features like DLSS 3 proving to be worthwhile even at 1080p, our favorable review focused on these new Ada Lovelace features and the GPU's impressive efficiency.

There are two emulators: Yuzu and Ryujinx. Both of these are different emulators for the Nintendo switch and only one of them is required. So it is up to you to decide which one you want to use. Some games, like animal crossing, may run better on Ryujinx. Others, like Mario Odyssey, run better on Yuzu. So just run some games on one, and some on the other. If there is a clear winner later, uninstall the other one. This guide is for setting up Yuzu. If you wish to set up Ryujinx, then head here.
