I checked the cables as well. I decided to try the program that is offered by NEJE, and everything works well there. I hate the setup of their program. Its actually so basic that it bothers me lol. It has to be a setting in lightburn for the issues with the engraving. as far as the dim light goes, I am searching for the firmware update now, not having a lot of luck

Note: After flash 8.6 firmware to your device, The laser will turned off completely . If you need weak light focusing, please focus in neje mode, or use M03 S01 and other commands to turn on weak light on GRBL.

I bought Lightburn last year to run my Neje Master 2s plus laser.
After installing the CH34x_Install_V1.5.pkg it works fine. It was a pity, that my mainboard crashes and I need a new computer.
Now, I got a MacBook Pro 13 inch with the new M1 processor.
Lightburn is running fine
BUT - when I connect the laser to my USB-port, nothing happens.
i installed CH34x_Install_V1.5.pkg again,
nothing happens.
On the Nejd-Laser, only the red led is working. (when I start the neje wireless software, the blue one is going on, too).
neither Lightburn, nor the normal neje software can find the laser.
my Mac is running BigSur 11.2.3

If your operating system does not have the .NET Framework 4.8 environment installed, you need to reinstall the operating environment. If the software can be opened directly, you can ignore it.

After a period of time, the belt may be aging and relaxation, resulting in image printing offset. You can use screwdriver and inner hexagonal wrench to adjust screws at the two positions of the machine, so as to re-tighten the belt.

If it is not used for a long time, we suggest adding some anti-rust oil to the metal places such as the screws and bearings of the machine to avoid metal rust, and package it in a dry environment to avoid rust

A: Open the neje software and start a work, which can be completed or not. At this time, the device has stored your engraving data. Restart the device, press the red button, and the device will reset. After the reset is completed, press the button again to preview the position. Press the button again to start working. If you continue to press the button, the device will switch between pause and work.
