DESCRIBETHE ISSUE IN DETAIL (below). LIMIT TO ONE BUG PER THREAD.

Since the last update, after the intro cinematic, the screen stays black instead of displaying the main menu. I can still hear the ambiant menu sounds. I can still click on buttons (for example I can quit the game).

I tried deleting my local Steam Cloud saves (which include options, hotkeys etc) and the main menu news displayed properly, but this only happened once, and did not happen again after a retry.

I have over 1000 hours in the game and never had such an issue before the update.

Hello again.

Regarding this problem, I have tried launching the game on my laptop as opposed to my desktop, and the game launched properly on that device. I unsubscribed from every mod through there. Then I uninstalled my game from my desktop, deleted folders that remained such as logs, mods and user profiles. I then reinstalled the game and launched it, but the problem was still there.

I have noticed that I was not logged in Microsoft Xbox Live on my laptop, where I managed to launch the game properly. I believe I might be connected to that service on my desktop.

There seems to be error and warning messages in the logs that are related to Xbox Live. There is a message warning about a suspiciously short authentication token.

I have been looking for it since yesterday but cannot find it. There was a problem with Steam at one point and you had to fix the Vikning? something I think. I wish I could find it because it solved it for nearly everyone. If anyone still has the link can you post it?

I stopped playing AoE1 because I need 8-10 tries before I can load any scenario, it always crash to the desktop. Once I enter a scenario, the game works perfectly, but when I finish and go to another one, crash to the desktop again. I tried the game with an Xbox Game Pass in this PC and it worked perfectly.

I logged out of xbox and steam, disabled the steam overlay as well as steam cloud saves. I also deleted local steam cloud data. I have no mods at all installed, the game should be as barebones as it could be.

Multiple game updates later, multiple OS updates as well as graphics driver updates, the game still is not working. I have been playing this game since launch and have about 1500 hours on Steam, but since the February update, i have not been able to play a single match. This is frankly infuriating.

Firstly, I mean I know M$oft, but that windows store is a complete joke! I have been running Win10 for over a year now and I have completely avoided using the appstore due to having to have firewall on and BS like that. I dont want an appstore on my PC thank you very much.

So I took the plunge, got the appstore up and running, I thought what the hell how bad can it be? (If only I had known!) I bought the 80 Ultimate version and feel pretty stupid right now, in fact downright conned!

At that point I just get a black screen with rock music in the background. I cant do anything by pressing all controller buttons or any on the keyboard.

I tried adjusting various settings in the Radeon settings AA,AF,Crossfire on/off, frame pacing on/off, framerate control on/off, V-sync/Enhanced sync on/off. Nothing made any difference, I just get the black screen after the intro.

Ok, so now I can fire it up again and guess what? Thats right, same as before. Get to watch the intro (very bored of this now) and then black screen when asked who I am. Very Frustrating. All you can do is close the window or alt-F4 if full screen.

I have also tried flicking between fullscreen and windowed (Alt-Enter) makes no difference. I have also tried as above virtually every combination of settings in my Radeon settings. nothing makes the slightest difference. Intro fine, then black screen. Have also tried eyefinity on/off and 1080P,1440P,2160P single screen resolutions as well as monster triple screen ones!

You have to go into privacy settings and make sure that anything that has either xbox app, store app, or forza7 in it to make sure they are enabled. Like background apps for instance. As long as those 3 apps have all the access they need in privacy settings it will get past the intro.

At the beginning of the movie Belly, the bad guys walk into a strip club in slow motion under strong blacklights. I want to recreate this blacklight look, shooting on RED Raven (dragon sensor) I know I will need alot of light for this, and blacklights are already not very bright. Looking for advice on lights bright enough to recreate that where I can either move them backwards in front of talent as they walk forward or maybe have several of them placed overhead down the path the talent plans to walk. Ideas? Are there any super strong black lights I can rent? Or maybe is there a blacklight gel I can throw over an HMI to get the same effect? I will be shooting this weekend in New York so looking for answers fast!

I always imagined that lighting was done with some really strong ctb and coloring in post. Not so sure it was actual black light. Black light will pick up too many small (and probably distracting) nuisances like lint on clothing or in hair, but with gels that wouldn't be noticeable.

You can get something like that with Lee's #181 "Congo Blue" filter. There are banks of fluorescents in shot - possibly Kino-Flo Wall-o-Lites, given the period. They look to me like they have the bluescreen tubes in them, although it could just be a quirk of how blacklight tubes are being rendered.

The classic and trusted book "Fifty Common Trees of Indiana" by T.E. Shaw was published in 1956 as a user-friendly guide to local species. Nearly 70 years later, the publication has been updated through a joint effort by the Purdue Department of Forestry and Natural Resources, Indiana 4-H, and the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, and reintroduced as "An Introduction to Trees of Indiana."

Each week, the Intro to Trees of Indiana web series will offer a sneak peek at one species from the book, paired with an ID That Tree video from Purdue Extension forester Lenny Farlee to help visualize each species as it stands in the woods. Threats to species health as well as also insight into the wood provided by the species, will be provided through additional resources as well as the Hardwoods of the Central Midwest exhibit of the Purdue Arboretum, if available.

The leaves of black oak are multi-lobed, typically with seven lobes, with deep sinuses in between, and have bristle tips like all members of the red/black oak family. On the black oak, the alternately held leaves can be extremely variable in shape, but the tops of the leaves are dark and shiny and have a leathery appearance. Leaves change from dark green in summer to yellow or yellow brown in fall.

One key characteristic of black oak are the terminal buds, which are angular and fuzzy, very large and light tan. Alternately, the cluster of terminal buds at the end of northern red oak stems are smooth, shiny and reddish brown to brown in color.

The fruit is a small rounded acorn with striping running up and down the sides and a fuzzy coating along the outside edge. The cap is deeper than northern red oak and the scales on the edge of the cap resemble loose, rough shingles.

Black oaks, which grow to 50 to 60 feet tall, are found mostly in dry, upland areas. The natural range of the black oak is nearly all of the eastern United States, from Nebraska, Iowa and Oklahoma to the west, dipping south into Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and even a bit of the panhandle of Florida, extending along the eastern coastline, and northward into southern Ontario, Canada.

The Morton Arboretum states that black oak has a high tolerance of alkaline soils and dry sites, although it prefers acidic and dry soil. This species cannot withstand severe drought. It can also be difficult to transplant due to a deep taproot.

As with other oaks, the black oak should be pruned in the dormant season to avoid attracting beetles that may carry oak wilt, which can be a potential disease problem. Galls on leaves caused by mites or insects are common, but not harmful.

According to the Hardwood Lumber and Veneer Series, red oak, which can contain as many as 17 different species of trees including black oak, constitutes about one third of all the hardwood lumber produced, with northern red oak as the most preferred species. Black oak is the second most common species in the Midwestern region, but is often found on poorer sites than northern red oak, and in this case, the lumber quality is less than that of northern red oak.

In general, red oak lumber has a very characteristic, showy, coarse grain pattern. Wood color can range from a vary light pink to a blood red color. Red oak is rated as the best wood to plane and second best in boring. It also receives high marks for shaping, turning and steam bending.

Lumber from the red oak group weighs around 44 pounds per cubic foot, making it one of our heavier woods. It is also one of our strongest woods. Red oak lumber has been used for a variety of purposes from furniture and cabinets to millwork, caskets and hardwood flooring.

Bioclear is pleased to introduce the Black Triangle System, a new matrix system that enables black triangle closure up to 40% faster* than with the original Bioclear matrices. Black Triangle matrices are custom designed for black triangle treatment and require no trimming prior to seating. A color-coded gauge and matrices make choosing the correct curvature for gingival embrasure closure simple and predictable. Curvature is indicated by colors at the top of the matrix and correspond with a gauge that, when inserted into the black triangle, indicates which curvature to use. The matrices come in two sizes (large incisor and small incisor) and four curvatures allowing you to treat the entire anterior sextant, canine to canine and both upper and lower arches with strong aesthetically pleasing results.

*Typical improvement for most Bioclear dentists
