Hello there, I'd like to know if anyone has a vault app (hide photos) between two devices. The way I found to do it was using a vault with free backup capabilities. However they are quite the price in my country. I've been using Vaulty, witch allows Google drive backup(That has free 15GB,more then enough) however I had to abandon ship, since the backup decided to duplicate all photos in the vault. It's a mess and I still can take out all the photos without duplicates using my tablet which wasn't synced with the vault. I've tried hide it pro, it just doesn't work, I've been searching for hours and I just can't find any app
if ever they try to open the vault saying they forgot the password, will they successfully open the vault? or if they format the phone or factory reset it, and they open the vault folder, are they going to see the files? PLEASE ANSWER ME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE BECAUSE MY LIFE DEPENDS ON THAT FILES.
I've used gallery vault for years (yeah yeah nakey pictures and all) and all of a sudden, today, I received a notification from Play Protect saying the app is unsafe and so I ignored it for now and checked the play store. The app itself doesn't show up at all anymore, but the pro key is still there.
I use gallery vault because it backs up to my Google Drive rather than it's own random cloud service. So I guess if this app is actually gone forever, does anyone know any other apps like this that back up to Google Drive and has an at least semi-current design?

Q: I changed my Android mobile phone from one carrier to another. I installed Vault app from the Google Play store, and placed the old SD Card from the previous phone into this new phone. After installing the vault software in the new phone, I am unable to restore data (photos, videos) from old SD card. What might be the reason for this? Is there any way I can recover the files from Vault app on my old SD card?
