Hyung-Jun stalks her, demanding money to pay for his car. Since she is a poor high school student Hyung-Jun writes up an "Enslavement Agreement" for Ha-Yeong in order to pay for the damage to his car. Ha-Yeong is thrown into a nightmarish slave life for 100 days, running his errands, i.e.: cleaning his house, carrying his shopping, and cleaning his car.

By accident she finds out that the damage to Hyung-Jun's car costs only $10. She then takes her revenge by damaging his car and his reputation. But Hyung-Jun takes revenge by becoming her new tutor. This brings them close to each other and they realize they love each another. Hyung-Jun frees Ha-Yeong from "slavery" as the 100 days are over and later even kisses her standing in-front of her house's main gate. Ha-Yeong's mother sees this and threatens Hyung-Jun to stay away from her daughter's life, then brings a new tutor to teach Ha-Yeong. Ha-Yeong tells Hyung-Jun that she wants to marry him but he says that he only toyed with her. Hyung-Jun leaves his apartment which makes Ha-Yeong more vulnerable. She studies hard so she can get into Hyung-Jun's college.

After the exams, when she finds out she was not selected to enter the same college as Hyung-Jun, her tutor takes her to a place where she finds Hyung-Jun telling her that she was selected into his college but he wanted to give her a surprise. After a long time we see Ha-Yeong driving while talking to Hyung-Jun about all the chores that he did not do. A high school kid is shown who kicks a can that accidentally hits her in the face and causes her to scratch her Lexus. She tells him that there is only one way to get out of paying for damages, hinting at working for them and do the chores she was just talking to Hyung-Jun about.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. South Korean comedies are on a whole other level! It's rare you'll catch me watching a generic romcom which is why I primarily watch romcom's from South Korea because they're actually funny and the romance is almost always heartfelt. '100 Days with Mr. Arrogant' involves an unconventional romance between a school girl who kicks a can at a guys car, and the rich prick who owns it. The titular Mr. Arrogant forces the girl to be his slave for 100 days in order to pay for the damage. They initially dislike each other but grow closer over the course of the 100 days.

100 Days with Mr Arrogant is a surprisingly by the numbers romantic comedy from South Korea. It's also totally over the top in it's humour, acting and direction, but not in an overtly amazing but very goofy way.

After being dumped by her boyfriend just before their 100 day anniversary, Ha Young meets a college guy named Hyung Joon whom she accidentally hits in the face with a can causing him to scratch his Lexus. He demands she pay him $3000 on the spot, but she escapes, leaving her wallet behind. Hyung Joon, not satisfied with this, stalks her, demanding money to pay for his car. Since Ha Young is a poor high school student, Hyung Joon writes up an "Enslavement Agreement" to ensure she pays for the damage to his car. Through this agreement, Ha Young finds herself thrown into a nightmarish slave life for 100 days; cleaning his house, running his errands, doing his homework, even cleaning his car.By accident, she discovers that the damage to Hyung Joon's car only cost $10, so she decides to take her revenge. However, before she knows it, Hyung Joon has shown up at her house as her new tutor! He once again takes advantage of her, but soon Ha Young finds herself falling head over heels for him. But what happens when he drops out of her life just when she needs him most? Edit Translation

Andrew "Douglas/Doug/Chief" Filholm, 91, of Brookings, SD peacefully passed away on May 4th, 2024 at The Neighborhoods of Brookings in Brookings, SD. Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Brookings on June 1st, 2024 at 10:00AM at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, where Douglas was a longtime parishioner and supporter. His family will be hosting a celebration of his life at Rude's Funeral Home on Friday, May 31st, 2024 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM.

Douglas attended school in White, SD and Brookings, SD and eventually earned his GED through the Brookings School District. He enlisted in the US Army where he became a paratrooper and a Military Police Officer. He served his country during part of the Korean War but never was deployed as he graduated from Jump School the day the armistice was signed (July 27, 1953).

Douglas was a kind and caring soul. He was a generous man of service and honor. Having been concerned about small kids being driven around on "top" of a man's car, Doug went to the police station to see if anything could be done to stop this and prevent a possible tragedy. They told him the best way to help his community and keep it safe would be to become a police officer. He asked for an application and was hired on the spot, thus beginning his 26-1/2 year career with the Brookings Police Department. He served as Police Chief for 20 years. Chief Filholm had a firm belief in right and wrong but always felt people deserved a second chance. Many situations were handled in his office instead of the courts. During his police beat days he befriended the owner of the Fixit Shop and eventually purchased this business. He would work his police duties during the days, and anytime he was needed, and then repair things that Sharon had received from customers throughout the day at the Fixit Shop. Through the Fixit Shop Douglas became a self-taught locksmith and gunsmith. He was very mechanically inclined, could fix almost anything, and believed that "if some man put this together, I can take it apart and put it back together". The Fixit Shop also gave him the opportunity to spend time with his children and teach them about business and the importance of good work ethics. All of Doug and Sharon's sons have careers based on their early education of locksmithing with their Dad. Between being the Police Chief and the local locksmith Doug could be called away from his family at any given time, and many times he was. Always honoring his commitment to his community and humbly fulfilling his duties regardless of the time of day or weather conditions. On many occasions a service call to unlock someone's car would be done at no charge. Doug and Sharon also gave their children an education in farm life when they rented a small farm north of Brookings where they raised chickens, pigs, goats and sheep. Doug had actually lived on this farm when he was a child and would share his childhood memories with his children.

Chief Douglas was very proud of starting "Safety Town". Safety town is an early childhood education program designed to introduce a variety of safety conditions to young children. Safety Town is still flourishing to this day.

After he retired from the police force, he was elected to be the Brookings Police and Fire City Commissioner. Doug did this for 6 years. So, between being an MP, a Police Officer, Chief of Police, and city commissioner, Doug served his community for nearly 35 years. Also, after retirement from the police force, he started the 2nd Hand Store. Moving his Fixit Shop into a downtown building and incorporating it with his new 2nd Hand Store. He never really retired. He worked until he just couldn't do it anymore.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Sharon; parents, Mads (George) and Charlotte Filholm; brothers, Jim Filholm and Dave Filholm; sisters, Loretta Quinn, Genevieve Holm, and Geraldine Jensen; nine brothers-in-law, seven sisters-in-law and a daughter-in-law, Nancy Filholm.
